Hill and Hollow is a certified organic farm in the heart of South Central Kentucky. We raise Jacob Sheep and create heritage single-breed yarn and roving. We also raise and use regionally adapted dye plants. We use locally sourced base yarns to create yarns and fiber products that showcase the beauty of plant dyes. We are a mother-daughter team, and in addition to creating the kind local yarns, we host farm workshops to share the knowledge we have gained and learn from other fiber folks in the region.

This session encourages everyone interested in all aspects of the local fiber community to share their perspectives on the current state of fiber production in the community. However you engage in the fiber community as a shepherd, dyer, spinner, weaver, designer or the wearer of locally sourced, sustainably raised clothing, this session will leave you inspired to build a resilient local fiber economy.
